Environmental Policy

Here at Supreme Upholstery Ltd we are very conscious of our planet, and we therefore do everything we can to be as eco-conscious as possible.

We have invested in solar panels cutting down on the energy we would have used from the national grid.  You can be assured that a large amount of energy used to produce your furniture has been created using these solar panels.

​

The timber we buy to produce your furniture is sourced from reputable forests in Estonia and Latvia, both countries have tripled the size of their forest areas since the mid-1920s.  Our timber suppliers are members of the Timber Trade Federation and all their purchases are required to be independently audited to ensure all the timber is legally sourced as per EUTR (2013).  This compulsive requirement means they are certified under the Responsible Purchase Process.

Our waste timber, plastic and cardboard are all recycled.

Wherever possible all our materials are sourced locally, cutting down on excessive transport requirement.
