Director
Brian
Brian embarked on his furniture journey at 16, inspired by his father's craft, undertaking an apprenticeship. With over 50 years in sofa and chair design, as Development Manager, and Production Director, he's worked with renowned companies such as Lyndon Designs and Walker and Homer Group.
Founding Supreme Upholstery in 2017, he pioneers affordable, high-quality furniture. Brian thrives on collaborating with customers, interior designers and development teams, applying his wealth of knowledge to troubleshoot and innovate. Notably, his first design for Supreme Upholstery, the Tipperary, epitomises his vision for the timeless versatility that customers and clients know Supreme Upholstery for.
Wood Machinist
Dave
With over half a century of experience under his belt, Dave is a seasoned pro in the trade. As Wood Machinist, Dave plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, meticulously preparing wood for frame assembly on-site at Supreme Upholstery’s wood mill in Trafford Park.
Dave eagerly anticipates seeing the Old Lace leather adorning his future sofa, patiently waiting for the day his grandchildren are old enough to fully appreciate its beauty.
Fabric Cutter
Connor
Connor's journey at Supreme Upholstery mirrors a tradition of excellence. Beginning as an apprentice, he recently achieved distinction in his NVQ, marking a promising start to his career. As Fabric Cutter, Connor conscientiously marks out and cuts fabric for our sofas, chairs, and footstools, ensuring precision and quality in every piece.
Fuelled by a passion for versatility and functionality, Connor's favourite model is the corner sofa.
Upholsterer
Wayne
With over 40 years of experience, Wayne is a skilled Upholsterer, starting his career as an apprenticeship. His daily tasks revolve around meticulously covering sofa and chair frames with high-quality fabrics and leathers, adding detailing such as fluting, pleating and studding to give a high quality finish to the design.
Wayne's passion for the upholstery craft is particularly evident when he's working with velvety textures like the Lovely and Plush ranges.
Director
Teresa
Teresa's journey in furniture began at 16 with a summer job, filling cushions at Robert Vietor Ltd, which later became Olympia Furniture Ltd. She absorbed every aspect of the furniture trade, from frame-making, upholstery and right through to quality control and delivery.
After 18 years, in the upholstery industry, she ascended to production management, mastering buying and production.
As a co-founder of Supreme Upholstery alongside Brian, Teresa manages buying, production, and customer relations. An Irish dancing enthusiast, she brings her passion to work, naming each sofa model after her beloved hobby.
Frame Assembler
Kieron
With over two decades of industry experience, Kieron is a skilled Frame Assembler, he works with high-quality hardwood and plywood, ensuring every sofa, chair and sofa bed offers comfort AND durability.
His love for Supreme Upholstery clearly runs deep, as evidenced by his encouragement for his son, Connor, to join the business, as well as his recent corner sofa purchase.
Seamstress
Malgorzata
Margaret, a valued addition to Supreme Upholstery since 2019, embodies passion and precision in her role as a Seamstress. With extensive experience in working with both fabric and leather, she breathes life into every design that comes her way.
Whether working with more intricate patterns or luxurious materials, she consistently delivers exceptional quality making her an invaluable member of the team.
